When is the best time to have a personal brand photo shoot?

TIMING IS EVERYTHING, THEY SAY. But how do you know when is the right time to book a personal branding photographer?
Are you considering having a personal branding photo session or a business branding photo session but you’re not sure whether it’s the right time?

Here are 3 ideal times to book a personal brand photo shoot: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. When you are starting up a new business

When you are starting up a new business it is critical to show your prospective clients through high quality imagery that you are serious and not just playing.

If you’re not confident enough in what you have to offer that you won’t invest in your own brand, then why should others invest in you? Cheap imagery makes your service or product offering look unappealing and unprofessional.

Invest in your brand imagery at the outset to show your value from the start – hit the ground running! Quality imagery conveys a feeling of quality and professionalism to clients – allowing them to feel that they can trust in you.

2. When you are launching a new website and/or branding

It’s the ideal time to have a brand photo shoot when you are in process of having new branding and/or a website designed for your business.

Your website designer may have asked for your brand imagery and you’ve panicked about the disaster of selfies and stock imagery used by a million other people at your disposal. You realise that your chaotic collection of images, all edited differently and not reflecting your brand colours or mood will JUST NOT DO. You’re embarrassed that your photos don’t flatter you or your services/products AT ALL. You know that a good branding photographer knows how to show you at your gorgeous best, how to make you feel relaxed, and how to incorporate your brand colours and themes and the stories you wish to tell about your brand.

If you are planning a new website, this is an ideal time to get a gorgeous set of custom created imagery for your business. These images will make designing a gorgeous website so much easier. We can create images that specifically illustrate the content and copy on your website and that complete the story/themes of your website.

3. When you’ve been in business for a while, but your images are out of date or don’t show your value or tell your brand’s story

If you have been in business for a while and have consolidated your brand, it’s the perfect time to show it off with imagery customised to your brand.

You’ve realised trying to take your own brand photos is wasting valuable time that could be better spent on other areas of your business. You have realised that you don’t have the skills, expensive photography equipment or know-how to create beautiful images that show the story of yourself and your brand. You want top notch images that show the world just how awesome your services or products are and show your creative/work process and value.

You’re ready to have a library of gorgeous custom brand imagery to dip into to create a cohesive visual presence for your business.
